My Story
Hi, my names Jordan, I began lifting weights 13 years ago, at the age of 13. I fell in love with it straight away, but at that age did not have the knowledge to reach my goals to my best potential. Once I turned 16, my technique and knowledge improved, this is where the real results began.
Unfortunately due to health circumstances my training had to stop for a year, which led me back to square one. Turning 19, weighing 7 stone 8 (49kg). This is where my passion for the gym and body grew. I spent endless hours researching all areas of health and fitness ready to give myself the best start.
By training 4-6 times a week, and putting my knowledge into practice, within a year I was back to 9 stone 6 and by the age of 23 I was up to 11 stone. 7.8 -> 11stone (Naturally) in 3 years is a jump!
Through these years of growth and development, it taught me to ‘trust the process’ and I hope I can help you learn to trust this too.
My Background in Sports
The sports I have engaged throughout my life have helped me in more ways than you would think. They have helped me physically, mentally, and shape me as the person I am today.
From the age of 3 I trained in Judo, and at the age of 6 I transitioned into the world of Rugby. I quickly realised that my skill in these 2 sports supported not only my team work but also my skill and resilience.
6 years ago MMA was introduced to me. Learning 5 martial arts in a short period of time developed my confidence, mindset, overall drive and only pushed me to wanting to dig myself into the world of fitness more.
Becoming a Certified Personal Trainer.
From the age of 18 I knew I wanted to be a personal trainer, but the time never came. 6 years later, I finally made the leap to fulfilling my passion of wanting to help people make a change to their life, health and overall wellbeing long term. My drive and the support around me helped me qualify in my level 2 & 3 in less than a year and gave me the opportunity to start my business.
Bridge 2 Fitness
I wanted my business to appeal to everyone, and not everyone enjoys a gym environment, finding it intimidating and a place where you can feel lost.
Bridge 2 Fitness offers only private training. This ensures you feel comfortable, which in turn promotes confidence and the best personal results.
I look forward to helping you take your first step.
