Why we need weights when in a losing phase?

When we are trying to lose body fat, most people assume they need to run, go on the stairmasters, the rowing machine and so forth to lose weight and body fat. Now we definitely need to train with these as it does make a difference but relying solely on cardio is not the best option and this is how so many people end up in the ‘Yo-yo effect’


By adding weights (For fat loss) this speeds up the process massively, we without a doubt need weights to change the shape of our body and get to our goals lifting heavy and being in a calorie deficit is not going to make you look like a body builder (women often think that’s what is going to happen) but your going to lose the body fat and be shaping your body. Muscle is a lot more dense than fat! That’s how we get the ‘leaner look’


So by adding them both together along side a good calorie deficit (every single day) there is no way you aren’t going to lose.
